“— A bit of a late review as I thought I already did it, but it wasn’t on Google — My Mum and I visited on the 28th of May, 2025 after I finished work. The food was absolutely delicious, served promptly and was piping hot. Mum’s wrap was enormous! The food is all reasonably priced, too. We were served by both Braida and Bruno, both of whom were very pleasant. As we were the only customers at the time (it was around 3:30pm ish, so a late lunch), Bruno was chatting to us for a while and cracking jokes. Both of the aforementioned servers are assets to your store. We can’t wait to go back, thank you C&B Christchurch!”

“Well, how do I begin. The food was spectacular and truly made my night and was served quickly. The food was served so quickly as a bonus! But, what made my night was my server. I don't know his name but I know his surname begins with an R. He is amazing. First of all he was polite and friendly fitting our mood and of course the atmosphere of Chicken and Blues. He was funny and nice. Plus, we were told he was only working there for a week! I will be coming back especially if he is there and of course all the cooks in the back did a wonderful job. 5/5 Everything”

“Me and my boyfriend went for a date night and as it was his last night visiting me, we decided to try something new, and I’m glad we chose Chicken & Blues. I can’t rave about this place enough! We ordered quarter chicken and half chicken, with sweet potato fries, garlic bread(?) gravy, and honey BBQ sauce. Then we had the brownie cake which was also tasty but wished we had ice cream options. Everything was just amazingly delicious, I don’t usually order chicken from restaurants but this one was absolutely tasty, and everything blended so well! The chefs did amazing with the food. We were looked after by Bruno who was so attentive, not just to us but other customers as well. He went beyond for us, I had a few to drink (as a girl does lol!) and Bruno made sure I had something to eat on my way home so I didn’t get sick, and he kindly gave me a cookie on the house, the sweetest guy! We had a great conversation with him, it’s always nice to get to know the people who are providing service, as I’ve been there before. He was lovely meeting Bruno and the food was amazing! However, I would recommend for the brownie dessert to have some ice cream options, it would elevate the deliciousness the brownie already gives! I would highly recommend this restaurant, very lovely staff. Service and food 10/10, no notes.”

“Superb service for an early dinner. My server was helpful with my decision making and very friendly. Chicken was moist and very tasty. I was the only person in there but I can imagin it would be amazing with blues music and a bubbling atmosphere it would be fantastic. Quick service. Recommend the half chicken and the waffle fries.”
